Sofia Charvet Pena

I am currently majoring in Mathematics and Secondary Education at The College of New Jersey, and would like to become a Math Teacher in the future.

As a freshmen, I am currently involved in The Leadership Development Program, where I have become a Facilitator for the club. I also had the amazing opportunity to attend the LeaderShape Institute over winter break, where I was not only able to improve my leadership skills, but i was able to learn more about myself as a whole.

The Harcourt Foundation has allowed me to continue pursuing my career without the full concern of having to pay a significant amount of loans after I graduate. This has given me more financial stability , and therefore has allowed me to concentrate more in my studies and future goals.
